Epoxy coated aluminum mesh is a kind of composite mesh material formed by using aluminum mesh as the base material, alternately weaving up and down the aluminum wires in warp and weft, and coating epoxy resin on the surface. It combines the lightweight, conductive/thermal properties of aluminum with the corrosion, insulation, and abrasion resistance of epoxy resin, and is widely used in filtration and protection scenarios that are sensitive to support strength, media resistance, and weight.

The base material is aluminum mesh, the mesh specifications can be customized, and the structural stability is ensured by plain and twill weaving methods

High Stability

Epoxy resin coating is an inert material with excellent chemical stability, which is resistant to hydraulic oil, lubricating oil, water vapor in compressed air, and mild acidic and alkaline media.

Light Weight

Under the same specification, the weight of aluminum mesh is only 1/3-1/2 of that of mild steel mesh of the same size, and about 2/3 lighter than that of stainless steel mesh.

Moderate Strength

Aluminum mesh itself has a certain degree of tensile and deformation resistance, with the coating of flexural strength increased by 15% -20%.

Wide range of temperature resistance

Long-term working temperature - 40℃ to 120℃, can withstand 150℃ high temperature.

The weaving process ensures stable mesh size, and the epoxy resin coating makes the surface burr-free and does not adsorb impurities.

Meets ASTM B117-09 salt spray test standard, can be continuously exposed to salt environment for 96 hours without surface degradation, ideal for air filters in harsh outdoor conditions.

Strong Adhesion

Passes Class H pencil test, 1kg/50cm impact test, scratch test, and fatigue test.

Excellent Flexibility

Can be bent into a bar with a radius of curvature of 1mm without breaking.

Stable structure after cutting

Thread edges do not come apart after slitting, and interwoven points maintain adhesive strength that can withstand a force of 0.7kg.

Applications

Hydraulic and lubrication systems

As a support skeleton for oil pressure filters and lubricant cartridges, it is adapted to hydraulic equipment and provides stable support for the filter material.

Compressed air system

Used as the support layer of air compressor pre-filter and compressed air precision filter element, intercepting dust, water vapor and oil mist in the air.

Lightweight Filtration Equipment

Suitable for weight-sensitive scenarios. Reducing the overall weight of the filter element reduces the weight of the equipment and facilitates installation and maintenance.

1. Do you use pure aluminum wire or alloy for your epoxy coated aluminum mesh?

We usually use pure aluminum wire or aluminum-magnesium alloy wire for weaving. The material can be customized according to customer requirements.


2. Is the combination of aluminum wire mesh and epoxy coating strong?

Yes. We adopt pretreatment + electrostatic spraying + high-temperature curing processes to ensure strong adhesion of the coating, making it not easy to fall off.

 

3. Can your epoxy coated aluminum mesh be cut according to our requirements?

Of course. We offer customized services for rolled mesh, sheet mesh, cut pieces, and framed mesh, and support small-batch processing for sample testing.

 

4. What if the size of the epoxy coated aluminum mesh is incorrect after receipt?

Each batch of products undergoes size inspection before leaving the factory. If you find a size error in the received goods, you can take photos and feedback to us. After confirming it is a production issue, we will provide a replacement or rework plan.

 

5. Can you provide samples of your epoxy coated aluminum mesh for performance testing?
